Industrial Revolution

It’s been quite a while since I last put up a blog post, I’ve been meaning to do this since last week but I’ve been so busy I literally couldn’t find the time. But here we are and I’m finally doing it.

Last week has been super hectic with so many things going on! I met up with Eugenie (Feral Creature) and Natalie (Nalieli) who were visiting from LA and also Melody (Missing Avenue) from Singapore. We practically spent almost everyday together, hanging out, shopping, taking pictures and eating tons of Thai food. Sometimes I feel so far away from the rest of the world being one of the few fashion bloggers in Bangkok, but it’s times like these that I feel location doesn’t matter anymore as the world has become increasingly smaller. We had a great week together and I feel blessed to have made new friends. And although I did not want them to leave, I know our lives must carry on and I’m sure at some point we shall all reunite again!

Reckless Abandon

This is the last batch of photos from the most recent beach holiday I went on. On our way leaving the beach town, we came across this abandoned area as we were driving. We couldn’t help but to get out and take some pictures as there was literally no one around and we simply couldn’t miss such an interesting looking location!
We were a tad wary when we first pulled into the location. We wondered around without our gear first to do a quick sweep of the place to make sure there are no people hanging around there, and most importantly, that there were no gang of stray dogs that have claimed this place as their home.
Once we observed that the place was safe enough, we went back to the car and got out our gear. This was actually one of the most fun shoots we have had in a while as it was not just a photoshoot, but it was an adventure as well, exploring what we are guessing is an abandoned warehouse. The place was absolutely humungous, with all four walls filled with colourful graffiti clearly done by all different artists. It was evident that we weren’t the only ones to have seen potential in this place that has been renounced.

Blue Pacific

bluepacificA lot of you may have gathered by now that I absolutely LOVE my beach holidays. The reason being that my life in Bangkok is an extremely hectic one, with me doing endless amounts of things everyday whether it be sorting out Nün Bangkok orders, shooting a new look, managing all my social media pages, taking care of my dog, and somewhere in the middle of all of this, attempting to find time for myself. So when the time does come where I do get to go away for a few days, I want those few days to be as static, and relaxing as much as possible. The beach is perfect for this lazing around that I crave for. There are no distractions, no expectations of having to see all the sights, and most importantly, time does not matter.

The best thing is that, beach vacations are actually one of the cheapest holidays you can have! All you need to spend your money on is the accommodation and food. The rest of the time, the beach is THE attraction, and that’s free! And the added bonus is of course that there are tons of great locations for me to shoot new blog posts. Tom and I like to stop along the way, to and from home, because that’s where you find the most interested places that are completely abandoned! So on top of getting a cool new look, there’s also an element of adventure in the experience as well!
