Into The Wild

I’m so excited to finally put up this outfit post! This bohemian look is a little different from what I normally wear and I really had fun styling it, shooting it, then editing it! All of these items had traveled to me from different parts of the world and luckily they all happen to arrive one day before I left for my beach holiday, just in time for me to pack them and bring them specifically for this shoot!

My clothing pieces are from my newly discovered brand called PYLO and they sell bohemian, festival-vibes clothes that are always summer ready! Their material is very light, comfortable and easy to wear and I just love all their pieces! These bell pants are extremely magical in a sense that they make you look tons taller than you actually are! Because they are so long, the pants cover up your shoes and you can’t tell where your legs end and your shoes begin. This creates an illusion of longer legs, accentuated by the vertical lines on the pants, extending your legs even further. Inside, I am wearing a 4 inch platform to elevate myself higher and because these pants will cover up my height-cheat, I’m safe to wear the tallest shoes I have!

I’m also loving my new bag from La Moda as this is different from what I usually carry! I’m a backpack kind of girl but this bag is so great that I haven’t been able to put it down ever since I got it! The bag is made of really good quality, durable faux leather and the best part is that it’s got an adjustable strap so that you can go completely hands-free and wear it as a cross body bag!

Hard Luck Blues

Tom and I had just returned home from our beach holiday this weekend and I’ve just found the time to finish putting this look together that we shot on our trip! Throughout this whole trip we shot altogether four different looks that we had planned ahead, matching the outfit to the locations. This first look was shot on our way to the beach resort at a place called Santorini Park in Cha-Am, Thailand. The place is a water park but also has a shopping section with its decorations inspired by a beautiful beach town of Santorini, Greece. Its white walls illuminated by Thailand’s summer sunshine makes for the perfect place to shoot as the reflection from the walls give the effect of a studio-lit photo quality.

When we found this place on the internet we knew that we wanted to shoot Nün Bangkok‘s ‘Black Saddle Dress‘ there as we thought that the sweet, 60s a-line silhouette is very suiting to this fun and bright location. I was also extremely thrilled that the place compliments my blue hair so I couldn’t help but to add another blue piece with my cute mini Kanken! And of course, how can I go on my beach holiday without my beachy waves?!

Over and Underpass

image(3)Tonight’s our last night in Bangkok and we will be heading out to the beach tomorrow morning! We spent the day packing and cleaning our place, there’s nothing better than coming home from a relaxing holiday to a spotless apartment! We will be staying at the beach resort for two nights, but I’ve planned and packed four different looks to shoot whilst we are there. Hopefully we’ll be able to get in all the looks and find the right locations for them!

Don’t forget to follow us on our short vacation! I will be posting regularly on both my instagram and my facebook fan page which had just hit the big 50k mark yesterday! Woo hoo!

Loose Leaf

I’m really proud to be rockin’ an entire outfit by my own brand, Nün Bangkok! The Pygmy Owl Top and the Pygmy Owl Shorts are easily my favourite items that we have designed for our newest collection! This set comes in three different colours and I shall be wearing the other colours for future posts but for now you can check out the rest of the colours at! The long checkered shirt is also by Nün Bangkok but it’s a custom made and only one exists as of now.

A few months ago Tom and I made a promise to ourselves to learn to take breaks more often as we are our own bosses, which means that we are constantly working on our brand and working on our blog! So now that we have successfully launched our new collection we have decided that yet another beach holiday is well deserved! We shall be heading back to our favourite beach resort sometime next week, so keep your eyes peeled for our holiday snaps on my facebook and my instagram!

Hats Off

I’ve been having creative block lately with putting together a new look to shoot! That’s why I’ve held off putting up this blog post for a while, sort of a way of buying myself time to get over this creative block and to be able to finally put something together! But what’s more difficult than putting an outfit together is finding the location that is well suited for the chosen look. I’ve recently changed my Canon 5D lens to an 85mm lens and you really need quite a big distance between the photographer and myself to be able to get in a full body shot, but the result is magic! I shall talk about my new lens more in depth at a later date as that really does deserve a whole article to itself!

I’m wearing Shelfies top in this look. Do check out their online store, they have so many hilarious different garments!

Took this look a couple of weeks ago but only found time to post about it now. I personally really like this outfit as it is very different from what I usually wear. I stumbled upon a clothing brand called House Of Sunny not long ago and fell instantly in love with their bold timeless pieces. Like any one else, I too sometimes am uncomfortable with change and House Of Sunny definitely would be considered to be different for me and wearing their outfits would require me to leave my comfort zone. Eventually, I decided that I loved their pieces too much and did want a good challenge and a change. I picked out three of my favourite pieces and once they arrived, I knew I had made the right decision! Their fabric choice, immaculate tailoring and minimalistic tones definitely make each of their pieces must-haves!

We have finally launched our Nün Bangkok second collection WILD BIRD! This has been a much anticipated moment for Tom and I, and the rest of the Nün Bangkok team! We have been working on the designs since the beginning of this year and have had many frustrating moments where we hit creative blocks. But eventually with lots of research and support from one another, we powered through and here we have our new collection!

The initial idea was to add more colour to the collection but to still somehow stay true to our branding. After weeks of browsing endlessly on the internet for an inspiration, we came across a beautiful picture of cute little bird called the Honeycreeper.

Its stunning vibrant colours with contrasting coloured wings sealed the deal for us. We decided to base the entire collection off of its bold contrasting colours whilst still incorporating our signature mesh panels. This design is seen most clearly in the Honeycreeper dresses (see below), with their bright front and back, contrasting with a different coloured side mesh panel. The remainder of the collection is an expansion of these initial design ideas.

The rest of the research time was spent pouring through hundreds and hundreds of pictures of different exotic birds to try and see what other kinds of shapes we could play with. The one that stood out to use immediately is a bird called the Black Saddle Homer Pigeon.

Its distinctive black wings create a graphically appealing side panel now seen on our Black Saddle dress (see below). And after having researched so many 60s style clothing and have long abandoned the idea, I couldn’t resist putting this bold geometric shape on a cute 60s inspired silhouette dress.

If I had to choose my personal favourite from this collection (a difficult choice!), it would have to be the Pygmy Owl Set (see below)! I just love the loose cut on both the top of the bottoms, making the entire outfit look more relaxed, contrasting with the plunging neckline and the daring side mesh panels makes for a very interesting outfit! I would also pair this entire outfit with a pair of badass sneakers (most likely my Nike Air), going for casual chic!

You guys can check out the rest of the collection on our Nün Bangkok website at
