Crops & Robbers

I recently picked up this crop top from a Thai market store and was absolutely thrilled to shoot a look with it! Although just a plain crop top, the high neck gives it edge and serious 90s vibes! From there, I planned the whole outfit around this crop top and had fun putting together a more grungy look. These Black Milk leggings have been my all-time favourite as they are extremely versatile, not to mention the striped lines are slimming and creates an illusion of longer legs! The platform boots are also my all-time favourite as they are highly versatile and give me crazy height boost which I’m in desperate need of!

To complete the look, I threw on a white bomber jacket from my own clothing brand Nün Bangkok and a gold chain necklace. The necklace not only pulls the look together but helps compensate for the high neck on the crop top by elongating the neckline.

A quick style tip: when struggling to find something to wear, pick one item you would like to wear and plan your whole outfit around that one piece! This will help narrow down your focus and give some sense of navigation so you don’t get overwhelmed when standing in front of your wardrobe thinking of what to wear!

Happy SONGKRAN everyone!

Songkran is a 3-day Thai new year celebration where the whole country has water fights literally everywhere! During the festival, if you take a peek outside your window, the chances are you’ll see different groups of people of every age group out with their colourful water guns, beaming with smiles and splashing each other with water. It doesn’t matter if you don’t know each other, during this festival everyone has got the Songkran spirit and is up for a little water fight session to cool down from the scorching sun!

The Songkran vibes are all about colours and floral patterns! I recently got this super vibrant dress from Nasty Gal and couldn’t resist wearing it for my ‘Songkran look’! I love the cutout sides on this dress as it creates an illusion of slimmer waistline and the polka dots on the royal blue is just a perfect combination as it would look nice on practically every skin tone! Finishing off strong, the daring open back is also an extremely modern touch to this statement dress.

To dress down this eye-catching piece, I paired it with a pair of super tall platform sandals and a casual, yet elegant Chanel vintage backpack. To complete the look, I threw on a gold necklace to bring out the gold details on the straps of my backpack.

Songkran is one of my favourite holidays as it is fresh, colourful, summery, topped up with friendly vibes all around. There’s nothing better than positive energy!

❤ Happy Songkran ❤

Little White Lies

I’ve been extremely busy lately working on our new Spring/Summer 2014 collection, so I’m really happy I’ve managed to find time to shoot a new look. I recently bought these ripped boyfriend jeans from Lenny Clothing and just couldn’t resist doing an all-white look! The jeans are such a statement piece that I decided to pair them with a super plain, slouchy tank top that I stole from my boyfriend. To complete the outfit, I snuck in a little cheeky peek of my cute peach-coloured bra (carefully matched with my bag!) to spice up the look.

Where The Wild Things Are

SO. I have a blog! It’s been a long time coming but I’ve finally got around to it!

Ever since 2014 begun, I haven’t had a chance to take a break or have anytime for myself at all. So, recently I took a 4-day vacation to the beach for a much needed relaxation! The added bonus was that, because it was low season there was hardly anyone around and we had the beach pretty much to ourselves, resulting in many photo sessions!

The look above is my favourite look of this trip and of recent times! I was most excited to bust out my Wild & Free  headdress and was extremely impressed with how durable it was! It was a super windy day right on the beach and the headdress took quite a beating but it survived the whole ordeal still in perfect condition!

When it was time to leave the beautiful private beach, I had felt that I could’ve used a bit more time there so we went ahead and booked our next trip right away. In the meantime, I shall plan out more beachy looks!
